Premiums ads: Premium Video Comment Ad, Premium Event Ad, Premium Page Ad and Premium Poll Ad.
1. What’s a “Premium Ad”?
The “Premium Ad” format is an ad that’s naturally integrated to the user’s experience. It’s located on the top right corner of the Facebook home page and on each user’s Profile and it allows brands to relate and connect with users.
2. Can “Premium Ads” rotate on the site?
No. Premium Ads appear only on the home page and on profiles, on the top right corner and are exclusive.
3. Which are the benefits of the “Premium Ads” formats?
# They allow users to interact with the brand. # They are video enabled. # They generate virality within Facebook. # Apart from measuring impressions and clicks, specific actions for each format can also be measured (for instance, connections, videos views, votes, RSVPs, comments, etc.) # They are shown on the most viewed areas on Facebook: Home and Profile.
4. If I run a Premium Ads campaign, would it be better to run it within Facebook or can I use my site as a destination URL?
It’s highly recommended that the destination URL is within Facebook, as the impact and virality generated from the campaign could be measured this way.
5. If the landing page for my campaign is an external URL, why do you still request a URL within Facebook?
If the creative chosen owns the video, it will be necessary to host it on a page within Facebook (even though this page is never used as the “landing page” for the campaign).
6. I want to have presence on Facebook, but I don’t know whether to create an Official Page, a Community Page or a Group. What’s better?
It all depends on the goal. If the goal is marketing and advertising, then the right choice would be an “Official Page.”
7. Can I combine Facebook’s brands and logotypes with new artistic words or elements to create my own brands and logos?
No. The manipulation of Facebook’s logotypes or commercial brands aiming at creating new or derived brands can damage Facebook’s brand rights. Under no circumstances can we allow such modifications on our brands. To request permission to use one of Facebook’s brands, it’s necessary to fill out this form. (We recommend reading Facebook’s Brand Use Policy).
8. What’s a username (“vanity URL”) on Facebook?
A “Vanity URL” is a customized URL that will appear on the navigation bar beside http://www.facebook.com/ (for instance, www.facebook.com/tuempresa ) In order to create it, enter http://www.facebook.com/username. .FOX Networks’ URL on Facebook is http://www.facebook.com/foxnetworks. 10. Which are the guidelines to select usernames?
Usernames are developed for Facebook users to be identified and to be able to share their profile more easily. When it comes to choosing a username, Facebook recommends having the following guidelines in mind: # Your username has to reflect your real name as truthfully as possible (for instance, Promero or Pablo.Romero). Nicknames can’t identify you as well as your real name can. # Usernames can only contain alphanumeric characters (A-Z, 0-9) or a dot (.). Stressed characters or letters like the "ñ" are not valid. # Choose a username that will satisfy you in the long run. Usernames are non transferable. # Usernames have to comply with Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities.11. How can I guarantee a username for my page?
If you administer a page on Facebook, you’ll be able to choose a username on facebook.com/username, just like those users choosing a name for their profile. Once you’re on this page, you’ll view a specific interface to choose usernames for the pages you administer. Once you have chosen a username for your page or profile, you won’t be able to modify it!
