The Marketing Challenge. Make a great impression on the target, presenting a different and interesting action, by means of worldwide platform and the football drive. Seize the World Cup theme (in order to create buzz and recall on the target) months before any advertiser had even started speaking on the subject.

Brand Insight. MaltĂ­n Polar is the leader of the Venezuelan stout market, which is translated into always having to be the pioneer of innovations and advertising actions which make it closer to and amaze the target.

Consumer Insight. Consumers are online, they love playing on social networks like Facebook, where they can compete with their friends.

The communication strategy. MaltĂ­n Polar requested to be the only non-alcoholic beverage to sponsor de Bola game, the first sponsored football game on Facebook. The strategy included: advertising on TV with a commercial made for FOX, rotational banners on Goodle Ad Sense and on FOXITES, social ads on Facebook. Such advertising was active for the 6 months the game was sponsored.

The creativity of communication. A multiplatform campaign integrated by an invitational commercial to play Bola, a banner attracting them to the game and the brand integration on the Bola game, where users can compete with their friends, challenge them and make their teams grow.
Animated pieces and a great stress on football and brand presence.

The results. 266,357 unique users. 1,012,652 sponsor visits. 2,596,619 played matches with the Sponsor. User’s average time on the game 29m 38s
