FOX is leading ratings and FX is positioned among the bests

September: FOX Entertainment Channel is leading ratings in Latin America on pay television and FX is firmly positioned among the bests of the region.

September´s audience figures positions Fox as entertainment channel #1 on prime time pay television on Pan-Regional level P18-49 HM on pay television, the most valued demography in advertising market (1). Great premieres like “TERRA NOVA” (Mondays 10pm), contribute to FOX leadership on Pan Regional level.

On the other hand, FX –one of the newest channels in FLAC group- was entertainment cannel #1, Panregional level during the broadcasting of the successful “Spartacus”(Wednesdays, 11pm) (2)

FOX showed once more to be the leader signal during prime time on pay television on PAN9 (Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Peru and Central America)with 0,65 rating at P18-49 homes with pay television on September [3]

Individual markets showed an excellent performance and FOX was cannel #1 on pay television in: Colombia with 0,99 rating points [4]; Argentina with 0,83 [5] and Mexico with 0,81 [6]. In Chile, the signal occupied the first position among entertainment channels with 0,47 rating points [7]

Regarding to contents, Fox stands out the premiere performance of “Terra Nova” (Mondays, 10pm), the amazing epic adventure to save human kind from an apocalyptic destiny. The emission of Terra Nova´s first episode reached 1.64 rating points in Argentina [8], 1.51 in Mexico [9], 1.31 in Chile [10] and 1.11 in Colombia [11].

On the other hand, September was a month of great results for FX as well – one of the youngest channels of Fox Latin America Channels- that keeps consolidating among the best entertainment channels (top 4) [12]. “Spartacus´” premiere, show about the famous Roman gladiator broadcasted on Wednesdays at 11pm on FX, reached 0.60 rating points in PAN (Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru) [13] positioning FX during that emission as entertainment channel #1.



FOX CHANNEL
Introduced in August, 1993, Fox Channel was the first of Fox Latin America Channels to be launched in Latin America and currently is the most watched channel on the region. The service is available 24/7 and reaches 19 countries in Latin America though cable and satellite distribution. The signal is broadcasted in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Fox Channel, Promx/BDA award winner and INTE twice award winner, offers excellent series, comedies, animation and box office hits.
